The Bueche family line can be traced back to Margaret Boucher and Julian Bueche, who lived in Acada in Evangline Parish.

Julian and Margaret had five children - Julian, Jr., Aileen, Joseph Paul, Elisabeth, and Josephine. Only Joseph Paul and Elisabeth lived to adulthood, however. Elisabeth married Adam Roger. They had one child, Anna, and moved to Magda-Crist County, where their line was lost.

Joseph Paul Bueche married Isabel Gravois and the couple had one child, Samuel Bueche.

Samuel Bueche married Marie Francoise Latour; this union produced three children: Judith, Benjamin, and Elliott. Benjamin died in his teen years due to illness. Judith went on to marry Albert Lebouef.

Elliott married Julia Poirier. They had two children: Teresa and Terrence. Teresa ran off as a teenager, and was never heard from again. Terrence went on to marry June Baudoin. They had one child, Jason.

Jason married Donna Ardoin, and they had three children: Rachel, Emma, and Brandon. Rachel is in college, Emma is a teen, and Brandon is a child at this time.
