Lilard, Elizabeth Abigail Collen Beloved wife and mother, Elizabeth died peacefully in her home of old age. She was 71, a native of Legacy Acres, and a Senior Officer with the U.S. Armed Forces for the pasty thirty years.

Officer Lillard joined the military after her youngest child, Christopher, had reached his teen years. Feeling her duty done to her children, she felt a calling to do more for society. Following her husband, a highly decorated military man's, suggestion, she enlisted in the military and quickly climbed the ranks. She spent her spare time with her children and husband, and entertaining friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband of many years, Commander Brandon Lillard, with whom she had just celebrated fifty years together a day before her death. She also leaves two sons and a daughter: son Michael and girlfriend Dagmar Bertino, daughter Rebecca and husband Leo Deppiesse, and son Christopher, and three grandchildren, Dena and Devin Deppiesse and Ian Bertino. She will be greatly missed.

Interment in private family cemetery at Collen Estate.
