Legacy Families

When Claude Holland's parents, Melinda and Edmond, died when he was a teen and they only adults, he knew he wanted to create a lasting legacy in their honor. His line, he comforted himself by saying, will go on for many, long generations. He began a scrapbook after the birth of his son, Russell, with the hopes that it would be continued with Russell for hils children, and so on.

Claude HollandHeir Claude Holland

Claude lost his parents when he was just a teen in a terrible drowning accident. It was then that he decided he would start a family of his own - and create a legacy.

After establishing himself in a solid Gamer career, he met and married Downtownie Michelle Reeves, a lovely blonde who made him laugh. Michelle even got along with his Australian Shepherd, Grenville.

Claude was elated when Michelle gave birth to their first child - a son they named Russell.

Michelle was about the nightlife and the men when she met Claude. She didn't fancy herself the marrying type, her aspiration was Romance. But when she fell in love - really in love - things changed. She and Claude shelled out the money for Michelle to be re-programmed. The first attempt didn't work - she became obsessed with grilled cheese - and the doctors offered to re-program her again for free. Michelle agreed; she didn't want to be obsessed with men - or grilled cheese - any longer.

Michelle is now a happily married Family-oriented Sim with a teaching job she loves. At home, she takes pleasure in raising Russell, bathing and walking Grenville, and tending to her small tomato plants.

Russell HollandHeir Russell Holland

Russell couldn't have been more excited when - as a child - he watched his father dig up the earth and create a small pond beneath the weeping willow in back of their large lot. Russell and his father spent many warm spring days and crisp fall ones fishing together.

Claude didn't fish that often, but Russell was out at the pond every spare moment he could find. He loved to fish, and had a bronze fishing medal before he was even a teen. His first catch was proudly displayed on the wall by his parents - where it sits to this day.

Russell, now grown, is pleased to have a son of his own that he can teach to fish with him.

Michelle Reeves HollandJaiden Thayer Holland

For as long as she could remember, Jaiden wanted to be a mother and wife. Nothing was more important to her than family. That dream was realized in full when she met and married Russell Holland. She eagerly moved into the large, comfortable home Russell shared with his parents - thrilled at the idea that future children would be raised surrounded by not only the love of parents, but the love of grandparents.

It was two years before Jaiden became pregnant - dashing her fears that she would be unable to have the child she and her new family so desired. Little Drake was born with much fanfare, and was the darling of the household, along with his younger sister, Brenna.

Jaiden, for her part, couldn't have been happier with the adult life that she had chosen.

Michelle Reeves HollandHeir Drake Holland

As a child, Drake was never lonely. He was always in someone's loving arms - and when not, he was being licked and loved on by the family's dogs, Grenville and Fiona. The future looked bright for the little tyke.

Indeed it was, with heirship designated to go to his younger sister, Brenna, Drake was free to puruse a small, family life of his choosing - away from the hustle and bustle of the large home he was raised in.

Drake married the Holland's former maid, Lucy Hanby, and the couple bought a small, cozy home just down the street from the Holland home. They had a daughter, Joelle, whom they heaped all of their love on.

Drake and Brenna stayed very close, and the two familys - Drake wih his wife and daughter, and Brenna with her husband and three daughters, would often vacation together or have one another over for barbeques.

Michelle Reeves HollandHeir Brenna Holland Stompel

Sweet, beautiful Brenna was always excited at the prospect of carrying on the torch heir. Though she fretted at losing the family's last name after marriage, her father assured her that the strong bloodline was much more important than any silly name.

Brenna married handsome, intellectual Townie Samuel Stompel, and in the Holland household, raised three beautiful, bright daughters: Jada, Portia, and Nora Belle.
