Obituary

Holland, Lucy Danielle Hanby, aged 78, of Legacy Acres, passed away Wednesday at her residence. She was employed at the Scion City Sun newspaper as a horoscope writer.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Drake Spencer Holland and her only child, daughter Joelle Drew and son-in-law, Marcel Raymond Lindstrom of Scion City, and one granddaughter, Aurora Ivy Lindstrom. Also surviving are her beloved nieces, Jada Eve Stompel Patch, Portia Lucille Stompel Pitts, and Nora Belle Elisabeth Stompel Barthelet and their families.

Lucy is preceded in death by her closest friend and sister-in-law, Brenna Emily Holland Stompel, and brother-in-law, Samuel Cole Stompel.

An avid traveler, Lucy and Drake traveled to many destinations with their daughter and the Stompels; Drake's sister's family who they were very close to. In old age, the couples continued to travel together - a pasttime they enjoyed right up until their final years.
