In his Freshman year of college, Martin Ruben fell head over heels in love with his roommate and friend, Jane Stacks. The affection was returned for a small while, until Jane fell for an Art student named Andrezj, whom she later married.

Deciding to be done with women and concentrate on his studies, it wasn't until his Junior year that Martin ran into Heather Huffington, a Drama major and resident member of the Tri-Var Sorority House. It took quite awhile for the awkward Martin to win Heather's affections, but once he had, she was all about him.

When Martin graduated, two years before Heather was due to, she dropped out of college and moved in with him. The two were married the next year, and soon after had their first child, Victor.

Martin is a successful natural scientist, and the small family lives in a small and modest, yet expensive, stone manor. The home boasts three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and an indoor swimming pool.

The couple talked about trying for another child, as Heather wanted a daughter, and young Ada was born into the family just recently.
