Boolprop It

Thanks to a wonderful post/guide by Monks on The Sims Resource Forums detailing how to use the Reaction Tester for Storytellers, I was able to put together this little guide to help you know what to click on the Reaction Tester to get the reaction you want.

You really should read her helpful guide for taking great screenshots, and this movie-making guide has some great helpful notes on the reaction tester as well.

Paul's Reaction Tester

You get the reaction tester by typing in the infamous boolprop cheat - boolprop TestingCheatsenabled true. Right-click on any Sim and choose Spawn... Choose "Paul's Reaction Tester". A yellow box with a red arrow will appear on the ground.

To figure out what reaction is under what column, you have to click and click - this guide will tell you what reaction is where.
