What Is Where & Why

A number of game-playing guides have been written for the site and incorporated into its municipal theme. My own Sim families and 'hoods have been added as part of the SSGR, or Skasimlaki Society for Genealogical Research. It's all just an inventive way to showcase my personal Sim stories, families, and 'hoods as well as sharing a few game guides and general Sims-related information.

Government Guides

For the most part, each "agency" within the government of Skasimlaki contains related game guides or info pertaining to particular expansion packs; sometimes this will include or be exclusive to my own, personal information.

The Listing
To make sorting things out a bit easier, here is a breakdown of which agencies pertain to which guides/expansion packs/personal info:

• Office of the Governor: My own personal space as creator, "governor", and designer of Skasimlaki and all it entails
• Parish Government: Details - including current Governor and Parish Keeper - for each parish within my game/the state of Skasimlaki
• Department of Labor: Guides and information pertaining to Careers within The Sims 2
• Business & Commerce: Listings of Sim-owned and run business in my own game/the state of Skasimlaki
• Department of Education: Guides and information on grade school, high school, and college pertaining to all things education-related in The Sims 2
• Coroner's Office: Information on cemeteries located within each parish/'hood of my game/Skasimlaki and listings on individual obituaries for my deceased Sims
• Office of Records: Listings of all faux articles, pieces, and write-ups down concerning the Sims and areas in my game/the state of Skasimlaki. A listing of the official newspapers for each 'hood/parish are listed as well
• Animal Control & Care: Guides and information on pets, stray animals, etc; generally anything pertaining to the Pets expansion pack of The Sims 2. Personalized breeds created in my game will also be listed here
• Horticultural Society: Guides and information on plants and gardening; generally anything pertaining to the Seasons expansion pack of The Sims 2
• Wildlife & Fisheries: Guides and information on fishing (Seasons expansion pack) and any "wild" animals in the game (werewolf, penguin, etc.)
• Comission on Tourism: Guides and information on vacation spots and vacationing; generally anything pertaining to the Bon Voyage expansion pack of The Sims 2
• Genealogical Research: Records and information on my personal Sims, sim families, etc.
