Augusta Mae Bordelon was the daughter of Franklin Arthur Bordelon and Eugenie Ann LaCour. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Allen Bordelon and Adelphia Marie Breaux. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Claude LaCour and Francine Marie LeBlanc.

She was the wife of Gene Roland Landry, and the mother of Wilson Matthew Landry, Alice Eugenie Bergeron, Susanna Lynette Martin, Madeline Adelphia Blanchard, and Debra Francine Savoie.

She was the grandmother of Hunter Justine Landry by her son, Wilson Jr., and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Gail Dugas.

She was the grandmother of Zachary Bergeron, Olivia Bergeron, Zoe Bergeron, and Oran Bergeron by her daughter, Alice, and son-in-law, Marshall Clay Bergeron.

She was the grandmother of Julia Martin and triplets, Leon Martin, Lydia Martin, and Landon Martin by her daughter, Susanna, and son-in-law, Dennis Martin.

Viewing at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 501 Sexton Road, Acadia. Interment in Bayou View Cemetery, 1211 Bayou Road, Iberia. She is survived by four daughters and son-in-laws: Alice and husband Marshall Bergeron, Susanna and husband Dennis Martin, Madeline and husband Paul Blanchard, and Debra and husband Quentin Savoie; one son and daughter-in-law: Mayor Wilson Landry and wife Nancy. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of many years, Gene Landry and parents, Franklin and Eugenie LaCour Bordelon.
