Obituary

Brenna Emily Holland Stompel, age 77, of Legacy Acres, passed away this past Saturday, at her home.

Brenna was born the daughter of Russell and Jaiden (Thayer) Holland. She worked as a judge on the TV show Battle of the Bands; a position once held by her mother. Brenna was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family and friends. She was also an avid and accomplished gardener and could be found at all times of year outside talking to her plants.

An entrepeneur, Brenna also started a small home-run business while in her 60s. "Stompel Fruits & Flowers" - a small, outdoor market just outside her own front door, sold her delicious fruits and vegetables along with her beautifully, hand-made flower bouquets.

Brenna is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Samuel Cole Stompel, and daughters Jada Patch and husband Kevin, Portia Pitts and husband Ashley, and Nora Belle Barthelet and husband Nicholas as well as eight grandchildren: Silas Patch, Sabrina Patch, Simon Patch, and twins Samantha and Savannah Patch, Emily Pitts and twins Ashton and Grady Pitts.

Also surviving is her treasured older brother and best friend, Drake Holland and his family, wife, Lucy (Hanby) and daughter, Joelle Holland.

She will be interred at Dynasty Cemtery in Legacy Acres in a private family mausoleum.
