Obituary

Holland, Jaiden Ruby Thayer, aged 64, leaves to cherish her legacy her beloved husband, Russell B. Holland, and two children, son Drake Holland and his wife, Lucy Hanby Holland of Legacy Acres, and daughter Brenna Holland and her husband, Samuel Stompel of Legacy Acres, as well as grandchildren, Joelle Holland, Jada Stompel, Portia Stompel, and Nora Belle Stompel.

Until her death, Jaiden was employed as a judge for the weekly, local television broadcast Battle of the Bands. It was a position she cherished, able to put to use her extensive knowledge and musical talents - at the end of every season, Jaiden and the other judges performed together for the audience. These were always her favorite episodes to film.

She was an avid gardner and enjoyed fishing with her family in their backyard pond; she was also an excellent cook and her warm, delicious meals will be missed by all who enjoyed them. Her children and grandchildren will remember her for the wonderful lessons she taught them about music and gardening. Her knack for making everything she touched beautiful will be missed by all who knew her.

She is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Fannie Olson Thayer. Interment will be in a private, family mausoleum in Dynasty Cemetery.
